Get used to failure.

All throughout history there has been many people who failed but ultimately succeed even when things looked dark or hopeless.

In 1937, Dr. Seuss finally set to publish his first fantasy story, "And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street" which was rejected 28 times before the Vanguard Press finally decided to post. Then there was the infamous Michael Jordan who was cut from his varsity team in high school but became one of the best basketball players of all time.

One of my favorites stories is J.K. Rowling who as a child was part of a dysfunctional marriage, got rejected from her college of choice. Got fired from her job and experienced an abusive marriage then became so poor that she was borderline homeless. She pitched the book of Harry Potter to many publications but they all rejected her. It wasn't till till 1996 which had been 5 years after she started writing Harry Potter that she finally got published by a small publisher named Bloombury and in 2004 she became a billionaire.

The reason I'm telling you all this is because no matter where you come from or what you are going through you can become successful. You can achieve the dreams that you want to reach but you must accept the fact that you will fail.

There has never been someone super successful who has never failed. If you're too scarred to be embarrassed or to fail in front of others. I ask you, please, don't let that stop you from chasing what you want. At the end of your years when you're 80 you will not care what they thought of you but you will regret that you never went for it.

A life of regret will make you bitter, disillusioned and sad which is a much greater burden than failing in the short term. There is no failure (excluding anything that will kill you) that is permanent as long as you are breathing and have health you can accomplish anything.

Also I want to make it clear that when you go out and start doing what you dream of you will be judged, you will be seen as crazy and you will not have the support of others. That's when you have to believe in yourself that you can accomplish what you set out to do. Don't live your life predicated on the opinions of  other people.

Have the courage to fail, every failure is a lesson that can teach and get you one step closer to your finish line. It isn't easy but it will be worth the trials you will have to go through.
