Do you need College?

I'm going to be straight to the point with you. You do not need College unless you're going to become a doctor or a career where lives are involved. Other than that I don't believe you need college. As a person who dropped out I have to say that I have enjoyed my life outside of school. No homework, no having to stay up late studying cause you didn't study all semester, and no pressure from having to pass the class. It's actually quite a relief not to mention that now a days going to college doesn't even assure a job now a days. So if you're someone who is nervous about ruining your life if you don't go to school I can assure you life doesn't end if you don't go to college.

Actually I am quite the contrarian and would like to encourage you not to go to college and here are the reasons for it. 

1. Switch Up the Routine- You have been in school all your life that's all you've ever known. No wonder many people are afraid to leave it they don't know what's outside of the school life. Even though many people hate it they go and enroll in the same thing they have been doing for the last 18 years of their life only to continue in it after they no longer have to. What's worst is that they are doing it not because they want to but because they don't know what they're doing with their life. On top of that they end up failing or flunking because they know that school isn't for them in first place but now you're thousands of dollars in debt and you still didn't figure out what you wanted. So my suggestion is if you do plan to go to school don't go right away give yourself time to experience and learn about yourself. Take the time to understand what your really want and what your vision is if you find you still need school. Then by all means go but don't be pressured by your parents or anyone to go. Not going to school will give you a nice break from it in order to sort out things in your life that you would of never been able to figure out because you were so clouded by school work that really means nothing to you.                                                                                                                                         
2. You DO NOT Need A College Degree To Get A Job- Unless you're going to be some sort of doctor or work for the damn government you do not need a college degree. I cannot tell you how many people feel that they need to go to school in order to get a job an the reality is that you do not need it. What you need is skills, a portfolio or references from other people that you have worked with. This will show your employer or the that you are more capable then the people who have a degree. Plus today we have the internet and you can literally start a job from your house. You don' even need to work for anyone you can literally create your own job. 

Success isn't something that comes from the institutions of the world. What that has to come from within don't force yourself to go to school because of exterior pressures. You are a young person you have a whole life ahead of you and you definitely have time lots of it. So live life instead whether you go to school or not choose to figure who you are and why you're on this earth after all we all have a purpose.
