The Super Power We All Have

I first would like to begin by saying that out of all communication rules I have found in this  is by far the most important rule of all. If you can’t do this as the title suggest you will walk a lonely way. It is that profound and it can literally change your relationships with your wife, how you do business and how others perceive you as a person.  Even the legendary Henry Ford considered this rule to be so exceptional that he would pay more for this quality than any other.

So what is this quality then? I will tell you, the quality that will make you a better communicator, keep your marriage happy and give you insurmountable amounts of wealth is this. The ability to arise and eager want in the other person. Which can only be done by seeing life through the other person’s point of view. If I had to summarize it in one word it would be the ability to be EMPATHETIC.

It is that simple actually so simple that we should all be able to do it but rarely do we do it. Most of the time we are worried about what we want. It’s always about ,”Me,I,Mine, I am” and we forget that the other people around us exist. Don’t feel bad though the other people are thinking the same thing they are only concerned with what they want which makes the individual who can do the opposite a very special person.

I know you’re thinking to yourself is it really the that important and simple? The answer is damn right it is, if you’re only thinking about yourself no one will want to deal with you. Ever had a friend that was all about him.He was the best and everyone around him is just a tool to get what he wants. Who likes being around an individual that makes them feel lesser  and doesn’t give them a little appreciation? No one, that’s why it’s important to be able to communicate with the people around you and it can be accomplished by getting away from what you want and seeing life through the eyes of other people to understand what they want.

By doing so you can you can play to a person’s inner desires this will allow you to avoid arguments because you’ll be able to see the other person’s point of view and instead have a productive discussion. If you aren’t in an argument great then you will be able to form a deeper lasting relationship with your friends or people you’ve met. There is no situation in which being more empathetic can’t help to meet people or to turn a tough conversation into a good conversation.

Henry ford gave this advice, “If there is any one secret to success, it lies in the ability to get the other person’s point of view and see things from that person’s angle as well as from your own”.

If the ability is so powerful that even Henry Ford would consider it the secret to success surely you and I could use it to become better individuals and be more successful. If we do that I guarantee you that without asking from them anything you will get what you want and that is the best scenario that can come up. Everyone will want to deal with you, everyone will like you,people will befriend you and your relationship with your significant other will be much better too.
